Symposium on Collaborative Development & Signing Ceremony for Strategic Cooperation Agreement Between Genertec Meheco and Shandong University Held

On April 11, a signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between Genertec Meheco and Shandong University was held at the university's central campus. Yang Guang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, met with Ren Youqun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong University. Zhou Xingbing, the Full-Time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Yi Fan, Vice President of Shandong University and Dean of Cheeloo College of Medicine, also attended the event. Zhao Fuchang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Cheeloo College of Medicine and Secretary of the School of Public Health, moderated the event. During the symposium, Shen Tao, Vice Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, introduced the development of the pharmacy discipline, the progress of previous collaborations, and key directions for future strategic cooperation, while Tang Yajie, Vice President of the Qingdao campus, discussed the advancements and research strengths related to biosynthesis. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on pharmaceutical innovation, platform development, talent cultivation, and achievements transformation. Lyu Heping, Assistant General Manager of the company, and Wang Qiusheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shandong University, signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement Between Shandong University and China Meheco Group Co., Ltd." The two parties will collaborate extensively on modern traditional Chinese medicine research, innovative drug research and development, biosynthesis, intelligent manufacturing, and talent training, jointly contributing to the "Healthy China" initiative and supporting public health. During the visit, Yang Guang and his team toured the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the Pharmaceutical Sciences, the university's cryo-electron microscopy platform, and the history museum. Heads of relevant departments and affiliated enterprises from the company also attended the event.
